About North Wales Cave Rescue

Map showing Cave Rescue Organisation areas of responsibility

North Wales Cave Rescue is a Registered Charity (number 1052986) which aims for the preservation and protection of good health and life of persons and animals injured or stranded either above or below ground by carrying out rescue operations and to assist the Police in these and similar activities.

It is our desire to have all active cavers and mine explorers in the area on the callout list. It is therefore in the interests for all active cavers to offer support and see the organisation continues.

We do not require a great deal of commitment from members and if all that can be offered is an able bodied caver should an incident occur then that is better than nothing. However, we would prefer all members to attend practices and training events occasionally so they have some experience and skills we can use. Those who want more training and responsibility can be encouraged and provided for.

If you are interested in joining then contact the secretary via the contacts page.
