Cheque Presentation
On Wednesday 13th May 2009, North Wales Cave Rescue Organisation along with the other members of North Wales Mountain Rescue Association, were presented with a cheque for £3,125 from the North Wales Masonic Benevolent Association.
Paul Whybro (Chairman) and Heather Simpson (Treasurer) attended to receive the cheque, which was presented by the Provincial Grand Master, Mr. Ieuan Redvers Jones. The funds will make a major difference to our capabilities in North Wales enabling us to procure better equipment and enhance training for the team.
The event was also a useful opportunity to link up with other North Wales Mountain Rescue Association members.
Fund Raising
NWCRO is a registered charity and has signed up for HMRC's 'SA donate' scheme. This means that taxpayers who complete a self-assessment return can choose to have all or part of any tax refunds due sent to the NWCRO. GiftAid is added automatically if applicable.
